The Bachelor of Knowledge in Health Administration (BSHA) Program is designed to integrate a framework of general education courses with a health care curriculum that provides the graduate with the foundational knowledge needed to enter today’s challenging health industry. The BSHA curriculum focuses on the basic body of knowledge, understanding, and skills identified as relevant to an ever expanding and diverse health nurture arena.
Coursework includes content in several from the following areas- management, finance, legal and ethical parameters, human resources, and information systems. Upon completion of the core curriculum healthcare students have the opportunity to select a concentration that is created to expand their professional opportunities.
The Prosperity Management concentration is created to expand the students’ health care management focus. Courses longing include content in direction theory, the legal connective regulatory aspects in health care, facility planning, community health as well as an introduction to health care policy. In amendment to the required circuit of study, students must placate Plenum Education and Elective requirements to meet the 120 semester-credit minimums required for completion of the degree.
